Samsung‘s Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB with Wi-Fi has hit Canadian chain stores and is ready to be bought by those of you who have been drooling over a nicely equipped Android 3.x device. While the Motorola XOOM in previous months have underwhelmed the industry, I can honestly say this device is a true screamer. It matches the performance levels of the Asus EeePad Transformer minus the IPS display but the colors and viewing angles are satisfactory. Stores like Best Buy Canada and Futureshop will have this available on Friday, August 26 at a price of $499.99 without any contracts, so just one more working week ahead and you will enjoy this device by the weekend,. Mobile carriers TELUS Mobility, Bell Mobility and Rogers Wireless here in Canada will also be releasing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in 4G form with rumors indicating the release is expected to be early September.
