Sprint Samsung 4G Epic was one of the best smartphones of all time, and now it 4G Galaxy S II epic is collected in its predecessor. This $ 199 device loses the physical keyboard, but gains a much larger screen (4.5 inches vs. 4 inches), a faster 1.2 GHz dual-core and 8 MP camera that can shoot-videos in 1080. Considering that all this comes in a package of 0.38 inch thick, the 4G Epic Touch has all the ingredients necessary to be in the top Sprint phone - yes, even if the carrier gets the iPhone 5. Read on to know if the Sprint version of the Galaxy S II at the height of the epic part called the unit for long.
Design
As with most smartphones, the glossy black front of the Epic 4G dominated by its touch screen, only here it's so much more impressive because of its compact 5.1 x 2.7 inches, which is slightly lower 4G injected (5.2 x 2.8 inches). And we're not just talking on the screen, either. The Epic Touch 4G feels lighter than it should, probably because of its ultra-slim 0.38 inches thick. What's not to say it's heavy: 4.5 oz Au, is more than an ounce lighter than the 4G Photon (5.8 oz) and about half an ounce lighter the 4G brew. Overall, we liked the look of the Touch 4G Epic, but we prefer the design flourishes Photon 4G, such as chromium and soft-touch back.
As with Infuse 4G, these small hands have trouble holding the phone in one hand and typing with one thumb.
Epic turn Touch 4G more, and you can see there is a direct descendant of the Infuse 4G: The back cover has a removable plastic texture pattern that follows the footprints away. Infuse the 4G, the bottom is slightly curved, but is less noticeable here. Up is the 8-megapixel camera with flash, it's just surrounded by an oval patch, not a rectangular shape. Given its huge size, however, we wish the touch 4G Epic had a crutch on the back as 4G Photon.
Edges of the Touch 4G Epic, you will find the basics. The fund is a micro USB port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Power button is on the right, and volume controls are on the left. There is no HDMI port on board, but Samsung sells an adapter that is connected to the HDMI port microUSB, so you can send video and other TV.
Display and audio
When you have one of the largest screens on the market, it's best to make sure it is. Fortunately, the 4.5-inch Touch 4G Epic Super AMOLED screen is bright and sharp, and has excellent viewing angles. When viewing a high quality trailer for The Killer YouTube streaming, we were impressed by the depth of blacks and the absence of pixelation in dark scenes. Unfortunately, however, the resolution of this phone is 800 x 480 is less than the 4G Photon QHD (960 x 540) display.
One behind the speaker was loud enough for a smartphone. When playing music or movies, an epic touch 4G was more than enough for a couple of people grouped together in a rigid device, a large conference call. However, the sound was a bit 'empty while listening to music.
Keyboard
A big screen means more space for the virtual keyboard. We found that typing in landscape mode to be almost as fast as using a physical keyboard, the little haptic feedback certainly helped. In standalone mode, we preferred to use the keyboard Swype was exactly where a bit slower.

Samsung Galaxy phone
So far, chances are you've seen television commercials for Samsung Galaxy S as above, but the phone fanatic, or if you do not follow tech news, advertising can be a bit 'confusing. Galaxy D is a phone or a group of phones? They are all air carriers to obtain the same model and when they are published?
Here's what you need to know. Galaxy S was first presented as a single model - i9000, to be exact - at CTIA 2010 and later sent to over 100 wireless carriers worldwide.
However, with the United States to launch the Samsung S Galaxy is no longer a device, but the whole series of Android phones, the company. All four major carriers, as well as a couple of regional service providers, receive device Galaxy S. All have the same essential characteristics - Hummingbird 1GHz processor, Super AMOLED touchscreen, Android 2.1 - but a slightly different design, content and name. Galaxy S models:
Samsung Captivate for AT&T
Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile
Samsung Epic 4G for Sprint
Samsung Fascinate for Verizon
Both the Captivate and Vibrant are available now, and we have full reviews up, so be sure to check those out. Meanwhile, the Epic 4G and Fascinate are due to ship later this summer, though Sprint and Verizon have not released a specific launch date or pricing yet. In addition, U.S. Cellular and Cellular South will ship their own versions in the fall. One final note, Samsung said the entire Galaxy S portfolio will be updated to Android 2.2.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Apps
Samsung Galaxy Applications
Navigation and Flash
For most of the search experience on the rock solid tab - pages load more quickly zoom in and scroll WiFi / most of the pages have been powerful. When you put a couple of places - like this site a great technology - we noticed that the scrolling to be a little nervous and not as slippery as the iPad. But we like that you can change the brightness of your browser. But, of course, the loss is different from other tablet with full flash. So, that's all what you expected? Thank you to a 1 GHz processor, the experience is not as slow as we have seen on other sub-units Android 2.2, but we can not really say that we took advantage of the function as - in fact we have decided to turn it off at the end for faster browsing.
Climb to the top of the smartphone applications and compatibility with Flash alone does not create a compressed flexible start - it takes a native application to be truly competitive in tab.
While it is nice to be able to download the videos within the site and not have to contend with the blue block lego, we were repeatedly given to us "This video is not optimized for mobile devices" error message when we hit play. All video games, but Flash will certainly slow the passage of others. What other flash heavy sites? Well, as you can see above, Hulu is a dead end - we got the same error message even if we are registered in our account Hulu Plus in your browser. (Hulu, please release the Plus Android application soon!) Similarly, we had no problems loading a flash game site, as Canabalt, but since it was built in keyboard and mouse settings are not able to understand how to jump and avoid the death of bricks. What does this mean? Feature Flash card is a good fallback, but if you're thinking about it murderess compressed application you should think again.
Room - Double Tab camera is a big step down in the iPad, and we must say that both were quite comfortable in those days. We warn, people look at you strange looks when you pull out the viewfinder and take pictures of a giant! 3-megapixel cam with LED flash back are not going to change the point and shoot, but it takes a few more decent shot. There are a few examples in the gallery below: The flash is handy when nabbing some of the photos in the dark, lit streets and external images are quite sharp. The camera's user interface consists of standard controls, and Android on your way, it's automatic focus and white balance. Strangely, there is no macro mode, but had a beautiful view of a wide-angle shots - just stick to very smooth to avoid blur. Even a continuous mode, which takes a series of nine shots - It took some time to realize that you've got to hold the camera, press to snap it. We should note that the overview and continuous mode are restricted to take 800 x 600 resolution.
Galaxy Tab shots shows the user interface of the camera and the camera
This is just a break that there is no recording of HD video - Tab shoots 720x480 - but the motion capture is fairly flat, and nothing we have seen stuttering issues such as mobile Galaxy S. We should mention here that the Galaxy card requires you have a Micro SD card with the camera, so it's a good thing, Sprint launches 16 GB card. Strangely, we could not save anything 2GB of internal memory, or use it when you install on your Mac or PC. (If you are interested in the European version of our UK Review Unit has 16 GB of internal memory, which is available at installation.)
The front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, obviously not as crisp and detailed, but is perfectly fine for video chat, awkwardly posing with a friend, or check the teeth of the remains of lettuce. As you can see in the picture above, we have been able to receive a video call using Qik in WiFi, although there were many delays and in some cases a serious amount of pixelation. We try to use Fring, but the request has not been optimized for the tablet again, and we could work both ways video calls. Fring Audio was better, though.
Performance and range
Perhaps the best part is that Tab does not have to worry about slow performance we've seen other tablets Android and Windows. The whole experience is snappy, and kept up with us even though we had four or five applications open. Of course, there have been times when it is frozen - especially when we had the game Angry and running, and we tried to test the 720p video - but it is likely that they will not be taxed 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 512 MB of RAM as much. As mentioned above, the Flash video within the browser, it took a few seconds to appear and did slow down overall performance, but when we were able to hit the play button it went well. As mentioned, to completely disable the flash to speed things up considerably. General tab, video playback was very smooth - high-quality YouTube videos in 720p and local content of its beautiful full screen.
Similarly, heavy graphics games like Raging Thunder 2 had no problem running and use the accelerometer. If you are looking for ways to reference tariffs Android Tab, who scored more than 14 MFLOPS Linpack constantly.
While the battery life? It's pretty good. After regularly surf the Web and read the tab for about a day and a half with just 3G, the battery is about 20 percent. On our test video tax summary, including a loop of standard definition video to 65 percent off 3G and brightness but on WiFi, 4000mAh battery lasted the tab for 6 hours and 9 minutes. It is about the same as some of the other tablet Android, we tested, but not so long IPAD 9 hours and 33 minutes.
Update: Well, this is a bit 'insane. It 'been brought to our attention that the card can not be downloaded via a laptop or desktop. And it is indeed the case - when connected to USB port adapter will continue to recover, but can not be downloaded.
3G speeds, and prices
We tested the Sprint version of the board of New York and have experienced a fairly standard upload and download speeds: Download the steps are on average about 1043 kbps in uplink and about 521kbps. Of course, we are dreaming of the day, that Samsung and Sprint have a 4G card speaks storm, but now you're stuck in the 3G version.
Sprint offers two plans for the 3G card: 2 GB for $ 29.99 per month and an optional 5 GB for $ 59.99 a month, but worth fixing a 3G plan for this device? Certainly, it makes sense to have broadband mobile kitchen on the tab, and Sprint Hotspot function, which adds an additional $ 29.99 per month, could be useful for connecting other devices in the interwebs. However, we have always had a hard time recommending netbooks that require a two-year contract, and the pills are a beast, which is why the $ 600 version without contact is more logical in our minds. Despite more money to be paid in advance that the contractual agreement (the material is only $ 400 when two years of his life to Sprint), we believe it is a better choice than agree to pay at least $ 720 in the data from more than two years. Compared to offer $ 600 Apple price is actually $ 29 less than 16 GB / IPAD 3G.
Those who do not need a 3G connection at any time it is better to wait for the WiFi card, which will soon be felt.
Samsung Galaxy Tab market
Samsung Galaxy Tab market - history of the Galaxy card has been a saga, to say the least. In fact, it was actually in May that I first heard rumors of Samsung plans to launch a 7-inch tablet Android phones as their S Galaxy, but only after months of painful jokes - including a look at their packaging cruel Hall Engadget - Sammy finally announced that the Galaxy Tab in the world in the IFA. Tab certainly full of specifications - a 1GHz processor, with the full support of Flash for Android 2.2, two cameras, up to 32 GB of storage and WiFi / 3G - to put others to shame tablets Android and our hands first we just had the hunger for more. Without the price and availability, however, the story was a cliffhanger. Of course, those details sank in the coming months, and here in the U.S., Samsung has finally announced that the four major U.S. could call their own tabs.
Verizon has finally the ratio of lead, prices, and revealed that the card would hit $ 600 without a contract - at the same time, Sprint was followed by a no-price, and $ 400 for a two-year contract option.
( Samsung Galaxy Tab market )In fact, it was a long trip, but even after all this, some of the big questions remain unanswered. Tab is to provide a richer experience and brighter than any other non-Android platform? How applications are specially designed by Samsung? And finally, finally got a tablet on the market that can compete with the Apple iPad? We believe it is time to answer these questions and finally, opening what could be the most important chapter in the history of the Galaxy Tab - Engadget official magazine. We knew you would agree, join us after the break.
Galaxy Tab (Sprint)
Hardware
It becomes more difficult for manufacturers to differentiate the look of these gadgets all-screen, but Samsung has done a commendable job separating the losses of other contrasts with its facade and back surfaces. The back of the rounded body is covered with a glossy white plastic (if time remains white ghost is still unknown), while the front consists of a black case and a familiar flush glass screen. (Note: we sent the Sprint version of Tab and there may be slight cosmetic differences between the versions carrier.) Screen bezel seems less polished than iPad - you always want to keep the Windex (or gadget Brasso Polish) and chamois in the neighborhood, though. Speaking of cleaning, that's exactly what we would describe the rest of the design - there are four touch buttons on the front, a headphone jack on the top edge and a volume rocker, the microSD card slot and button Power on the right edge.
However, do not see why Samsung would not have been able to make room for the micro-USB port - loading and content using their own charging cable sideload Samsung.
To be honest, we need a real evaluation of the project equipment will be in proportion to its shape. Not surprisingly, a 7-inch tablets are much better with one hand as the big screen (or 9.7-inch or 11.6-inch iPad ExoPC), and 7.4 x 4.7 inches Card Galaxy there is no difference . Steve Jobs can not think size is optimal, but we enjoyed the smaller hands can wrap £ 0.83 / 0.47 inches, thick card when you read a book or keep it as a phone and use your thumbs is a type on-screen keyboard. Of course, it is not as light or as thin as 0.53 pounds / 0.33 inch, Kindle, or 0.48 lbs / 0.4-inch Dell Streak, but it's still enough light to keep the bed without the fear that falling on your face.
The whole construction of the device is superior, and while it may seem to some as an enlarged Captivate or fascinate, it feels more solid than those of mobile plasticy. We're not saying that it is robust by any standard - even if you have a screen Corning Gorilla Glass - but it feels very strong, and not worry so much when he fell into error on the couch. In addition, again without problems tab slid off things from time to time - then we suggest you keep this little guy in a case or a pin standing by it. We do not want the record on a stand-up as the Evo 4G and Archos 7. Think about it, Samsung.
Screen
The loss was not a Super AMOLED screen smartphones like brothers the S Galaxy, but the resolution 1024 x 600 LCD is always amazing. It is particularly better than most other screens tablets we've seen lately, which means of course the first thing we noticed his stellar viewing angle. (You know we hang with and our viewing angle.) Tilt of the screen off-axis does not cause color distortion and share with a friend is not necessary for us to make adjustments.
The same display is very bright and the colors are very sharp. While some have complained that seems a bit 'too saturated, you can adjust the color saturation of the display settings to your liking. While the iPad, it is difficult to see what the sun is a glossy screen, but when we did some filming of a video on the City of New York on a sunny day, we were still able to do the checking. Even if the resolution is not as high as the Tab iPad, 1024 x 768 resolution IPS panel, the display has a number of pixels better, resulting sharper e-book reading experience and the website as the iPad. (You know how some of us think about the number of pixels.)
Just as telephones in the S Galaxy, the capacitive screen is very sensitive, and as we saw the preview for the match easily the sensitivity of the iPad. Not once on the last day of testing, we had a problem with a light touch to make choices, or scrolling down the length of the long side curls with light. Similarly, a four buttons on the accelerometer is very sensitive for most applications (it is usually slower in the browser) and a quick adjust when you started. As the iPad using OS 4.2, there is no physical button to turn it off, but you can make the menu display settings. Two speakers on the bottom of the tablet is much more difficult than the average smartphone (ok, maybe with the exception of the HTC Surround), but if you are going to be a board to rock the party you want to connect a number of speakers.
Software: Android and TouchWiz
As we have said a number of film festivals before, nice that the screen is only as good as the software that runs under it. And if the card, the software will be very familiar to anyone who has ever been used Galaxy S Samsung TouchWiz cell layer Android 3.0. As you probably already know, we've never been particularly big fan of cartoony interface design - looks like a nice kiddie-like - but it has some nice polish to the average consumer, and the tablet, adds more generic Android smartphone experience.
"Android is not ready for the tablets." Everyone has heard this, and as we enter some of them in the following paragraphs, the tab key UI - windows, a drawer, the startup screen, the Swype keyboard - are well suited for 7-inch screen. Focal length scales re-skin gently Android browser 7-inch screen. Is it just a larger version of the Smartphone OS Google? Yes, but we never seen anything wrong with that.
Samsung Apps
On the other hand, it does not mean that there are key elements of the OS that require adjustments to enjoy the extra screen space, and unlike many other brands Android shelves, Samsung has done more than just throw on the applications of stocks. Below is a summary of the main applications developed specifically for Samsung tab.
Email - The core of the email looks like the Galaxy S phone, but when he returns to the screen to landscape mode, you get a Microsoft Outlook, as a component that displays the Inbox on the left and right posts. We prefer to manage and respond to correspondence of this application in the application of Gmail, which is the version smartphone.
Calendar - The calendar application is just as attractive. Horizontal position, you can adjust it so that the calendar will have the entire screen, or similar two-pane view that displays the list of upcoming events.
Messages, Contacts - These are pretty self-explanatory. Even if the card is not technically a phone because of all the U.S. airlines is limited in its ability to call, you can use the application to send SMS or MMS messages or e-mail addresses of other links. Like others, you have two pane view in landscape mode - to view the contact details to the left and the right message.
Media Hub - began to appear in the Galaxy S phones too, but the tab may be more appropriate to take advantage of Samsung's new movie and TV store / player. There are currently more than 1000 videos for MTV, Universal and Paramount, and while there is a good selection of current titles - we downloaded the episode of South Park coast of New Jersey for $ 1.99 - if it is empty to start looking for more films. No, ET, and Terminator, to name a few, are not available. Of course, everything here is protected by DRM, so no luck trying to drag our office. However, you will be able to access your account at the central office to five other Samsung devices to view any previously purchased content. Media Hub is not a bad alternative in the air, but at this point, we recommend the purchase of content through Amazon Unbox and lateral loads for use on multiple devices.
Note: Samsung Hub also has an application that gives readers access to Kobo e-library and reading content, but Sprint decided not to preload.

Samsung Galaxy 3
amsung’s Galaxy range of devices is gaining quite a bit of popularity and after the success of their Corby devices, the company is getting more of the spotlight. One of their latest Android devices is the I5801 aka Galaxy 3. It’s offered up as a lower end Android device and could make things for the Spice Mi-300 a little difficult. Here’s a closer look.
Form Factor
The design is chunky and although quite comfortable to hold, I’m not happy with the look. It’s quite plain and the bulky and I know Samsung has a better fashion sense than this. The chrome finish makes it more of a mirror than a display (3.2-inch, 240 x 400 pixels) making it hard to view in bright sunlight. The 3.5mm handsfree socket, micro USB port and power/screen lock button are placed at the top. A hot swap slot for both the microSD card and SIM card are located under the rear panel. The Galaxy 3’s bundled handsfree is an in-ear styled speaker and is capable of delivering high quality sound while being comfortable to wear for long periods.
Features and Performance
Interface
If you buy the device right now you’ll be running Android 2.1 aka Éclair but the Galaxy 3 does support Froyo which will be out soon via an OTA update. Samsung’s Touch Wiz 3.0 UI is running on top of Android and, while I’m no fan, is nevertheless easy to navigate. The integration of Social Networking accounts with your phone book could have been better, but it gets the job done. There are Android and TouchWiz widgets available for the multiple desktops and you can download more off the Android market or Samsung’s App store. Swype for Android is by far one of the best assets that the Galaxy 3 comes pre-equipped with. It’s disappointing that other a generic Android Swype app isn’t available for all Android phones.
One major issue I did have with the device is that it was quite sluggish. It took really long to read an 8GB memory card for starters and there was a considerable amount of lag when trying to accessing apps/games etc. The light sensor has similar problems with delay. Oddly though multi-touch capabilities were a non-issue. It could be an issue with the test piece, but if any of you readers who own the device are facing similar issues, please let us know.
Media
The one thing that almost all Samsung handsets, irrespective of price, manage to deliver on is media. The Galaxy 3’s media capabilities are no exception. Thanks to Samsung's DNSe audio enhancement the music player dishes out loud and very clear tones from the high to the low frequencies. With the assistance of Effects, presets and an 8 band customizable setting, tone quality can be personalized to your preference. A 5.1 Surround sound option is also thrown in to sweeten the deal. The device can also read .AVI video files in a DivX or XviD format which is another bonus. You won’t need to convert videos, just drag and drop files for playback. The 5.1 Surround option is also applicable here. The handset also comes with an FM radio that worked out quite well and a voice recorder.

Apple blocks Samsung Galaxy tablet in EU
Apple blocks Samsung Galaxy tablet in EU
A German court has temporarily barred Samsung Electronics from selling its flagship Galaxy tablet in most of the European Union in a significant victory for market leader Apple Inc.
In a global intellectual property battle, Apple has said the Galaxy line of mobile phones and tablets "slavishly" copied the iPhone and iPad, and it has sued the Korean firm in the United States, Australia and elsewhere.
Samsung, whose tablets are based on Google Inc's Android software, has countersued Apple.
The German court order comes a week after Samsung was forced to delay the Australian launch of its latest tablet because of a separate lawsuit alleging Samsung infringed a number of Apple's patents.
Samsung products already distributed prior to the injunction on August 9 may still be sold and the company said it does not expect an immediate impact on sales.
UK retailer Dixon's said the company has so far received no legal instructions to remove the Galaxy tablet from stores, while Telefonica Germany can sell devices it still has in stores.
"It's no coincidence that Samsung's latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad, from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging," said Apple's London-based spokesman Adam Howorth. "This kind of blatant copying is wrong, and we need to protect Apple's intellectual property when companies steal our ideas."
Intellectual property rights are granted by an agency of the European Union and can therefore be enforced on an EU-wide basis, patent-expert Florian Mueller said.
Apple did well to choose the Duesseldorf based court because it is known to be well disposed toward rights holders, said Jorma Hein, a lawyer specializing in intellectual property rights.
Separate hearings are scheduled in The Hague in the Netherlands for Wednesday and Thursday. Experts said it was likely that Apple was seeking an import stop in the Netherlands because it is home to Rotterdam, Europe's biggest port.
Samsung's mobile unit, which includes handsets and tablet PCs, generated 30 percent of the technology giant's revenue in the second quarter.
RIGOROUS Defense
Samsung, the world's biggest technology company by revenues, said it would challenge the court decision. "We will rigorously defend our position," Younghee Lee, senior vice president of global marketing at Samsung's mobile business, told Reuters.
Lee said Samsung would launch a slightly altered version of the tablet in Australia next month. Samsung Germany said it would file an objection immediately with the court.
Once Samsung takes the measure, a court hearing will be scheduled, shortly followed by a ruling, a judge at the Duesseldorf court said.
Samsung has been locked in a battle with Apple over smartphone and tablet patents since April. The Galaxy gadgets are seen as among the biggest challengers to Apple's mobile devices, which have achieved runaway success.
Apple sold 14 million iPads in the first half of this year worldwide, compared with analysts' sales estimates of about 7.5 million units for the Galaxy Tab over 2011.
Android backers may look for products from other companies. "Many potential Galaxy Tab purchasers are committed Android fans," said Tim Renowden, analyst for research firm Ovum.
The likes of ASUS, Toshiba, Acer, HTC among others, could benefit, he said in part as purchasers are likely to look for alternatives that run on the same operating system.
Industry executives said Samsung could launch a new variation of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to get it on sale in Europe or settle the dispute by paying royalties to Apple.
"This will be an issue that will get settled between the two companies. Some deal will likely get made and then they will move on," said Peter Elston, Asia strategist at Aberdeen Asset Management Asia, which owns Samsung shares.

samsung galaxy tab sales
Samsung‘s Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB with Wi-Fi has hit Canadian chain stores and is ready to be bought by those of you who have been drooling over a nicely equipped Android 3.x device. While the Motorola XOOM in previous months have underwhelmed the industry, I can honestly say this device is a true screamer. It matches the performance levels of the Asus EeePad Transformer minus the IPS display but the colors and viewing angles are satisfactory. Stores like Best Buy Canada and Futureshop will have this available on Friday, August 26 at a price of $499.99 without any contracts, so just one more working week ahead and you will enjoy this device by the weekend,. The photo above is a screenshot from theSource.ca and if you read the finer print it says that it is only available Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 online. However some readers have tipped one of our editors, Gary Ginn that they have seen it displayed on the floor of some Source locations.
Mobile carriers TELUS Mobility, Bell Mobility and Rogers Wireless here in Canada will also be releasing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in 4G form with rumors indicating the release is expected to be early September.
The slab features TouchWiz over Android OS 3.1, 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800, 1Ghz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 3-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling via Google Talk. If the names Galaxy Tab reminds you of the first iteration of a tablet from Samsung then you should end that train of thought right now. This is a completely new tablet with better specs, larger screen and a version of Android that is specifically designed for the tablet experience. The exterior is super thin at only 8.6mm and only weighs 565 grams.

Samsung Galaxy 3 (i5800): 3.2 inch Android handset
Yesterday I discussed about Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500), in case you are not satisfied with the offerings of the handset, you can have a look at its sibling model known as Samsung Galaxy 3 (i5800). It comes with all the facilities provided by Galaxy 5 with some slight modification. For example, the phone has a 3.2 inch screen as compared to Galaxy 5`s 2.8 inch.
samsung galaxy 3As far as dimensions are concerned, Galaxy 3 will be of more length as compared to Galaxy 5. However, both the models have TouchWiz v3.0 touchscreen user interface. Regarding multimedia options, the phone very well supports all major media files, both in case of audio and video.
The camera is slightly improved here. Galaxy 3 has 3.2 MP Camera with auto focus option. Again the connectivity options are similar with presence of WiFi and 3G. In case of Bluetooth Galaxy 3 has Bluetooth v3.0 as compared to Galaxy 5`s v2.1. Moreover, the handset is powerd by 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery; hence expect a little more talk time as compared to Galaxy 5.
Once again, Galaxy 3 i5800 stands out in expandable memory option; it can support up to 32 GB of memory as compared to 16GB of Galaxy 5.

samsung galaxy s2 engadget
Samsung continues to go from strength to strength with its first dual-core phone - the Android 2.3.3-equipped successor to last year’s Samsung Galaxy S. Its impressive specification includes a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED plus display, 8-megapixel camera, a dual core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, microSD-support and Samsung’s updated TouchWiz 4.0 UI.
The Galaxy S2 is also one of the thinnest phones available at 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm. It weighs just 116g and is perfectly proportioned with smooth rounded edges. It's a big phone, but, unlike HTC's Desire HD, it doesn't feel particularly large in your hand despite its huge 4.3-inch display.
Galaxy S2 side
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S, the S2 is made almost entirely out of plastic, save for the Gorilla Glass front panel and metallic chrome edging. It still feels like a good-quality phone, though, and the plastic helps cut down on its weight.
There’s one physical Home button on the device, which is flanked by two touch buttons for Menu and Back. One aspect we particularly liked is that to wake the phone you simply press the Home key. There’s no fiddling around on top for an unlock button and this makes handling the phone single-handed much easier.
There's a microUSB port on the bottom for charging and syncing with your PC, and on top there's a 3.5mm jack plug which will work with any set of headphones. There’s no HDMI-out as on LG's Optimus 2X, unfortunately, so you'll have to make do with the Galaxy S2’s DLNA capabilities for sharing content wirelessly across a home network.
LTE Addition Pits Samsung's Galaxy S2
Samsung Mobile displays the new champ will be present at this year's Galaxy S2 in the event the event MWC 2011 is the successor to Galaxy S.

Samsung Galaxy 3 Price in India
Samsung Galaxy 3 is available in India at Rs 12,000 / - (Price in India).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Store
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is no longer available to customers in most of Europe -- at least not for now.
Apple Inc. obtained a preliminary injunction from a court in the European Union, preventing Samsung from selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. As a result, the Android-powered tablet will be removed from shelves in Europe.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 only became available for sale in Europe this summer -- that didn't last long! According to CBS News, "Apple has claimed that Samsung's Galaxy line of smart phones and tablets copies Apple design features -- including the packaging and accessories."
A Dusseldorf judge felt that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 did indeed copy parts of the iPad. And so just like that, it will be removed from store shelves.
Apple had more luck getting quick results in Europe than the company did in the United States. U.S. customers can still purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, despite the suit that Apple filed back in April in a California court. Apple requested a jury trial because they felt that Samsung "slavishly" copied their design. The company is still awaiting action.
As for Samsung's position, the company is "disappointed" by the injunction in the European Union. Samsung "intend[s] to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany, and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world."
Apparently, Samsung was caught off guard by the injunction, and differences in the legal system between the United States and Europe meant that Samsung wasn't able to defend the Galaxy Tab 10.1. SlashGear reports that Samsung wasn't aware that Apple was filing for an injunction until Apple had actually filed it. A Samsung representative told SlashGear that “the order was issued without any hearing or presentation of evidence from Samsung.”
However, SlashGear also notes that if Samsung is victorious in the main case, Apple will be liable to Samsung for damages on lost sales on the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
The good: As thin as the iPad 2 and even lighter, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the sexiest Honeycomb tablet we've seen. Also, it has a 3-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, and powerful dual speakers.
The bad: The lack of ports on the tablet will be a problem for some and the plastic back leaves it feeling less solid than the iPad 2.
The bottom line: Sleek, sexy, and light, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets as close to the iPad 2 as any Android tablet before it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
From a design perspective, no Android 3.0-based tablet has matched the iPad 2's no-nonsense aesthetic. The iPad 2 is sleek, sexy, thin, and light, with a minimalist design that eschews extra ports. Every Honeycomb tablet released so far has struggled to match that appeal.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the first Honeycomb tablet that is not only as thin as the iPad 2, but is actually lighter.
Design and features
The first thing that struck us upon taking the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 out of its box was its slim profile. In fact, when it's lying next to the iPad 2 we honestly can't tell which tablet is thicker and unfortunately we don't have a micrometer handy to get down into the business of microns. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 weighs 1.24 pounds, compared with the iPad 2's 1.32 pounds.
Rather than several paragraphs filled with confusing numbers, I thought a chart would be much more appropriate. Here's a handy chart to illustrate the size differences between the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and other recent tablets.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer | Acer Iconia Tab A500 | Motorola Xoom | Apple iPad 2 | T-Mobile G-Slate | Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Weight in pounds | 1.52 | 1.66 | 1.62 | 1.34 | 1.38 | 1.24 |
Width in inches (landscape) | 10.7 | 10.2 | 9.8 | 9.5 | 9.6 | 10.1 |
Height in inches | 6.9 | 6.9 | 6.6 | 7.3 | 5.8 | 6.9 |
Depth in inches | 0.51 | 0.51 | 0.5 | 0.34 | 0.49 | 0.34 |
Side bezel width in inches (landscape) | 1.1 | 0.8 | 0.6 | 0.8 | 0.9 | 0.8 |
On the top edge from left to right are the power/sleep button, volume rocker, and headphone jack. A speaker adorns the right and left sides and the universal connection port is found on the bottom edge, right beside a microphone pinhole.
There are no USB or HDMI ports. And, try as we might, we couldn't find ports for either SD cards or SIM cards. We're hoping Samsung's final release version will make finding the ports a lot easier.
The back of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 sports a 3-megapixel camera at the top and a plain white back. It's the feel of the plastic back that is the most disappointing aspect of the Tab 10.1's design. It doesn't feel as solid as the iPad 2, and as a result, doesn't feel as comfortable in our hands. Still, despite its 10.1-inch screen, the tablet never felt the least bit bulky.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a Google Experience tablet, meaning it uses the base version of Honeycomb 3.1, with no customizations to its interface; however, Samsung does include its Samsung Apps, um, app. Samsung Apps gives you access to the company's own application store.
For more information on version 3.1 of Honeycomb, check out the Honeycomb section of our original Xoom review.
Performance
This is Samsung's first tablet with a 10.1-inch screen, and it looks fantastic. The Super PLS-based display, with its 1,280x800-pixel resolution, produces a clear, crisp image, with a wide viewing angle that looks great when Web surfing or browsing the app store.

Samsung Galaxy Overview
When Samsung joined the Open Handset Alliance, excitement and anticipation engulfed the mobile world. With industry leading mobile phones such as the Samsung Instinct and Samsung Omnia already on the market, expectations soared. The speculation can finally end: on April 27th, 2009 the Samsung i7500 was officially announced as the company's first Android Phone.
From sexy, sleek hardware to fantastic specs and attention to detail, the Samsung i7500 has it all. Sporting a 3.2" AMOLED screen, 5 megapixel camera with flash, Wi-Fi, GPS and 40GB of total storage (internal/external) there isn't much more a mobile lover could want... but Samsung included more anyways.
The Samsung i7500 is the first ever Android Phone to rock a 3.5mm headphone jack, so those 40GB of storage are sure to keep your music library healthy and rotating. Don't worry about all that multimedia draining your batter because the 1500 mAh battery included with the i7500 has more juice than any other Android Phone to date. This phone has all the markings of a multimedia monster!
Words don't do justice to Samsung's AMOLED screen but if you had to try, bright, vibrant and all around gorgeous would come to mind. The crystal clear view not only makes day to day use of the i7500 more enjoyable but it enhances the entertainment value of videos, games and more.
The Samsung i7500 comes preloaded with Google's suite of applications and services such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Latitude and more! And of course, you can find all the games and apps you want on Android Market.
What may be most impressive is Samsung's ability to pack this incredible power into such a small frame... the i7500 is only 11.9mm thick. The Samsung i7500 is available in Europe and internationally now!
